(Ankabooth ) 29 : 11
وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ
And Lord Allah surely knows who are the believers and He surely knows who are the hypocrites.
The Criterion Adhikr is revealed to distinguish between believers and disbelievers. It is told in verse 32: 18: “Is then, the one who is a believer is just like the one who is a transgressor, they are not equal”. Adhikr is revealed to punish the hypocritical men and women as well as their followers Mushrik men and women as told in verses 48: 6 and 98: 6. So whoever holdfasts Adhikr, he did holdfast Lord and is guided into the Straightpath as explained in verses 3: 101-102 and 5: 48. See explanation 3: 166-167 and 29: 23.
